SPINPET applies an end-to-end polymer development model that combines academic expertise with industrial know-how. Our framework ensures that every material or technology goes through four structured phases — Project, Development, Prototype and Industrialization — transforming ideas and technical requirements into scalable, reliable solutions.
OUR APPROACH
Industry raises the questions. Our know-how turns them into sustainable materials.

Feasibility analysis and definition of the project concept.
This initial R&D phase includes a technical and scientific feasibility study, supported by the analysis of international literature, functional requirements, regulatory constraints and sustainability targets, in order to identify the most effective development strategy.
At this stage, we define the concept, select raw materials and establish development guidelines — from analytical techniques to validation criteria — balancing innovation with industrial feasibility.
This phase leads to the R&D work plan, the operational foundation of the entire development process.

Laboratory experimentation and validation testing of the project proposal.
We turn the concept into reality through applied research, targeted experimentation and tailor-made processes.
We design and optimize polymer materials, recycling processes, innovative characterization methods and new functional compounds according to customer requirements.
Structural and functional properties are characterized to achieve the performance targets required for subsequent pilot-scale validation.

From formulation to performance validation: testing becomes product.
We develop process and material prototypes, validated through extrusion, injection molding and pilot-scale processes, to verify processability, real material performance and process efficiency.
Validation is supported by the necessary chemical-physical characterizations.
Mechanical, rheological and physico-chemical properties are evaluated through comparative testing according to international standards, ensuring full compliance with customer specifications and applicable regulations.

Technology transfer and scale-up for market entry.
SPINPET supports companies in the transition from pilot scale to industrial production, optimizing process parameters from gram-scale batches up to hundreds of kilograms.
This structured scale-up phase ensures a smooth transition from laboratory validation to industrial manufacturing. We also support intellectual property protection and material certification, providing technical assistance for patent filing where applicable.
Our goal: to transform experimentation into stable, scalable and competitive industrial materials.
